Eric Hosmer, a slugging high school star from Florida, may drop because of high bonus demands. If that happens, he could be an option for Detroit. Like Rick Porcello last year, his advisor is Scott Boras.

Mike Illitch will do whatever it takes to keep the Tigers competitive. I just hope they don't sign and then trade him awasy in a bust deal. But...what are the odds of that happening?
