Heat's Wade not going anywhere

Heat guard Dwyane Wade spends the offseason in his Chicago-area hometown, but don't count on him becoming a Bull anytime soon. The Heat has no interest in trading Wade, a five-time All-Star and 2006 Finals MVP -- not even for the No. 1 pick, three sources close to Wade and the Heat said. The reaction came a day after Wade, speaking to reporters after a workout in Chicago, said he heard rumors the Bulls had interest in trading for him.

Since he stays in Chicago during the Summer, maybe the Bulls can get him for the off-season. When the real season starts, he belongs to Miami.

Yes he is. He just hasn't screwed this one up yet. Actually he's every bit as bad as Isiah. Isiah made terrible personnel moves trying to improve. Riley blew up a championship team.

Riley is crazy. And crazy enough to think about this trade and not say anything until the 25th of June. 3 is the magic number for success. One good pickup here in the draft with either Rose or Beasley and it's back in the Eastern Confernce playoffs. Watch the off season blow up like carpools

Pat Riley should get a new tailor. The Mafia Don look went out in the early '70's.

His hair is the reason for 4.00 gasoline. He uses so much crude oil he is causing a shortage.

In case you can't tell, I'm no Riley fan.

June 5, 2008  10:46 AM ET

Riley is definitely Isiah crazy. He just hasn't been caught out there yet.

I do not think Wade gets traded yet. I see it coming down the line, but not in the next few weeks.

June 5, 2008  11:02 AM ET

Riley can't be as bad as zeke was- he at least won a title-
only scott layden travels in Isiah country.........

June 5, 2008  11:13 AM ET

Wade is not going anywhere, yes he may be injury prone but he is still a threat to other teams, all it takes is the right pieces and he will be right back on top of the Eastern Conference.

Now if they do decide to trade him they would need to look in the West for a good trade, not to say that the east doesnt have anyone worth the trade, but it would be wise to move a prolific energetic scorer away from your conference so he wont come back to hurt the heats in the end.

Riley has made more bad moves than Isiah.

riley's greatness:

Riley gets aging stars Gary Payton, Alonzo Morning (i still love his game though), Shaquille Oneal (only had a couple of good years left), Shandon Anderson (ok but on the downside of his career), Kendall Gill (definitely on the downside), Tim Hardaway (broken but still performed above average), Jason Williams (enough said), Antione Walker (just a star name but does he really fit a Riley system? He was consistent in the playoffs), Chris Gatlin (riley made him a starter in miami, he was always a backup for other teams), Rodd strickland ( a decade too late), Jim Jackson (i actually think they should have kept him), Jamal Mashburn ( another broken player), and a slew of other old, washed up players and gave away players like Caron butler, Lamar Odom (don't really like him anyway), and other ok players walk away. Can't say great players because under riley, he was usually signing players and drafting players who are no longer in the league: Rasual butler, wayne simion, probably ed barron and other bad 1st round drafts: wright, Cook, etc , and the rest of the forwards on the team (look at our roster and compare it to NewYorks and tell me who's the biger idiot between Riley and Isiah). Riley acquired Morning (good), drafted Caron butler(good), Shaq(fair).

Isiah''s terribleness
Isiah has gotten crawford, marbury, Randolph, curry (these players are young, talented and should perform...any team would have taken these players), drafted balkman(good), Lee(good), an the kid who was good, but his career crashed after leg injury. Draft picks were questionable but turned out well.
Isiah getting Curry was a risk, but Curry was good. Getting randolph and marbury are no brainers. marbury was a premier point and randolph is a second to duncan and Amar but he is definitely a star pf. new york players are star players with talent.

stop hating on isiah. what has he really don't wrong that make him some type of terrible person. has he lead his team to a 16-66 record? fired a successful coach so he could say he won the championship? i may start believing what the manage r of the NY Yankees said soon. seems some people are getting passes and others who have done'better are being persecuted.

Why would the face of a franchise go n e where Riley must be high!

June 5, 2008  11:26 AM ET

He can come to L.A. No, not to the LAKERS silly, the Clippers.

June 5, 2008  11:34 AM ET

Bottom line is that the Heat-
assuming current roster stays healthy-
IS a playoff team (and won a TITLE)

The Knichs ARE NOT
and have not been for 4 years
