Romo injury scares Cowboys
The Cowboys had a brief scare when Tony Romo had his left hand cut after colliding with a defender and getting stepped on. Romo was examined by head athletic trainer Jim Maurer before taking some snaps from Andre Gurode. He returned to practice with his ring and middle fingers taped. Romo did not speak after practice, but the injury didn't appear to affect his play. Last year, Romo dealt with a right thumb injury suffered late in the season.

Apparently the injury was complicated when Jessica stepped on his hand with 4" heel. Tony was tied up and wearing leather at the time.
