Suns expect to hire coach soon
The Suns' timeline for hiring a coach did not change Friday. They still expect to have a new bench boss next week. The Bulls and Suns have common candidates in Houston Rockets lead assistant Elston Turner and Utah Jazz assistant Tyrone Corbin. Sources have said that Detroit Pistons lead assistant Terry Porter has been Suns General Manager Steve Kerr's favorite. Chicago did not pursue Porter but was denied permission to talk to Detroit assistant Michael Curry, who is expected to get the Pistons job. Porter may interview for the Detroit job Monday. The Pistons are expected to name a coach soon thereafter.

I still say this is Stevie Kerr's first step in securing a 42 win season for the Suns

Hmmm.... I wonder what skeleton that they are going to parade out to coach the Suns. The Bulls are on the same boat.

Beware Suns fans! Steve Kerr apparently has gone to the Bill Bidwell school of management, securing washed up, beat up players and making sure to simply manage the "bottom line" rather than a championship team with potential.

Beware Suns Fans! Steve Kerr has apparently gone to the Bill Bidwell school of management, securing players that are washed up and who simply help to tweek enough interest in the game to bolster the bottom lane. Case in point...Shaq. He's washed up but, certainly produced a few more dollars. No real attempt to build a championship team! And what is this with Grant Hill? A real loser! Bill Bidwell(Arizona Cardinals) would be proud. Just keep up the bottom line in the black and everything will be o.k.
