Jazz guard/forward Kyle Korver underwent what was termed successful surgery Wednesday to remove a bone spur from the top of his left foot, according to Jazz general manager Kevin O'Connor. The procedure was performed by Dr. Jonathan Deland in New York City. Korver's foot will be re-examined in two weeks, and he is expected to be able to start working out in a pool in about three weeks.

He is a decent role player for the Jazz. Even if he isn't ready by the beginning of the season it isn't a huge loss.

He will be ready and he will play better in his first full year as a Jazzman.

He's at his peak.....a tall jump shooter. That's it

Yeah, but he;s a better player than the guys that they traded away to get him. If he can refine his game to the mid-range with the occassional three, then he's a great fit for the Jazz.

"If he can refine his game..... "

All the Jazz need from him is the threat of shooting the three. He's a diversion to get guys from falling into a zone most of the game. Even if he wasn't consistent this year we faced the zone defense for a smaller percentage during the game since we traded for him than before we had him. He spreads the floor. Sometimes a guys presence isn't always shown through the numbers.
