Villarreal sporting director Jose Manuel Llaneza has indicated that the club have already rejected offers for various players since the end of the Spanish season. The likes of Giuseppe Rossi, Gonzalo Rodriguez and Diego Lopez are said to be among those regular first team players that have attracted interest from other clubs, while fringe players such as Guille Franco have also been the subject of offers in recent weeks.

Well, if someone gets sold, step up Altidore?

This si a special team in the Champions League, and could lead to someone perenially challenging Real and Barca in La Liga

Villareal work the transfer market very well

Villarreal has the best coach in Spain.
They overcame key departures such as Forlan and Riquelme.
I'm really impressed. And on top of it, they're very smart on the transfer market as stated earlier.

Go yellow submarines. Sevilla and Villareal are two of my favorite teams to watch besides the big 2 in La Liga, wish Valencia would take a page out of there book and step it up a notch

Valencia is a farce.
Their former president was terrible and now they have a huge 300M??? deficit to deal with. A firesale is coming, it might take a few years to see them back in the spanish top 4.

doenst valencia have a bunch of really expensive players like David Villa?

June 7, 2008  11:05 PM ET

I hope Villa goes to Arsenal, but it is true they have Silva, Albiol,Marchena, Baraja, Albelda, on top of Joaquin, Vicente, Morientes, and Angulo they should be a top 5 team.

Valencia just had a terrible season. They will be back next year, albeit without David Villa and most likely without David Silva.

Villareal is a fantastic domestic team and is managed very well. They are unproven in Europe, though, most likely due to a young roster. Rossi had a great season in yellow and I expect him to tally numerous goals and make a play on the Italian national side very soon, probably a starter in the 2010 World Cup with the inevitable retirements of Inzaghi and Del Piero.

Rossi is going to be great. He is the pride of New Jersey...lmao..

Villarreal is a little unproven in europe, but they did make the last 4 in the champions leauge a few years back when Barca won it. Villarreal will do well again next year and **** someone stated they play the tranfer market very well. Velencia is gonna sell quite a few players. Villa will be in Ehgland soon.
