those unis need a complete renovation...there is so much potential with a name like panthers and I've been disappointed with these unis from day 1. can start with the colors and then get rid of that ultra scary panther on the front...I tihink attendance is down in miami because too many parents are scared to bring their kids because they are afraid of that panther

I think that is a very good idea wingsfan#1.
As further punishment for bostongm's gambling vice, he should be made to have to TD on the side of Lidstrom...Heck, he talks about this subject so much he probably has both players stats etched on his memory.
Challenge him...he is becoming a real pro on the TD front as last time I checked he is tied on his latest effort.

I don't think many want to play in Florida very much these days. A move of Bouwmeester would be interesting fodder.

I know most people on this site would say that Colorado wouldn't be a contender, but they will. And he'd look great patrolling their blueline for years. Colorado should trade Arnason, draft pick, and the rights to Liles for the rights to Bouwmeester. that way Colorado has first crack at signing him and Florida gets first crack to sign Liles to the big money he'll probably want. If either signing didn't work out, they'd have some sort of safety clause in the trade.

The team needs new unis in a new city. Thats another issue tho...

Personally I hope he leaves, I'd love to see him play on a real team, maybe somewhere he doesn't have to be THE guy.

Jacques Martin doesn't have the answers (Actually, he's quite clueless). Jay Bouwmeester will not solve it by himself either, regardless of how much money they offer him.

Bottom line: You need a team to win. The Panthers do not have one!

There are a ton of "sometimey" defencemen out there, but I think Roszival is a little better than this guy.

Rozi is better but he has so much more potential than he's shown. IDK if it's work ethic, mental twitching, (he did seem spent in the playoffs as well as every other defender aside from Mara) or him simply being a lazy ****.

If he were younger I'd give him the of the benefit of the doubt. He needs to shoot more and its a freaking shame he can't QB the PP. Shooting more should improve but he literally acts like he'll get sent down to the Wolf Pack for shooting the damn puck.

Trade Liles?! Are the scars in your eyes? Johnny Liles is the best all-around defenseman we have! Scott Hannan is the best pure defenseman (that would go to Foote, but he isn't 28 anymore). Liles is the fastest skater on the team, depending on Svatos' knee. Arny could be traded, but he is a solid 3rd line center. Maybe a better deal would be to trade Kurt Sauer, Peter Budaj, and a pick, since Budaj is likely to be traded anyway if they sign Theodore, which they will. It would be dumb to trade Budaj, but if they are going too, they could trade him in this deal.

You want your team to sign Theodore there wt? After that horible job he pulled in the play-offs? He was hot and cold in the regular season as well. Wouldnt you want your GM to try and get a better goalie?

Hey...you know what?......maybe our clubs can swing a trade. We'll trade you Fernandez for a top 6 forward. Does it sound plausible? I think it does.
