Benson's last day as a Bear?
Cedric Benson said the latest episode in his turbulent off-season will not prevent him from participating in organized team activities Monday. There is considerable speculation that the Halas Hall appearance might be his last as a Bear. Benson's football fate could be determined this week as facts are gathered pertaining to his Saturday morning arrest in Austin, Texas, on charges of driving while intoxicated. The arrest was the second in five weeks for the enigmatic running back; he was jailed on May 3 outside of Austin and charged with boating while intoxicated and resisting arrest.

He's done. They're really probably wishing they had Mendenhall.
He might have bigger problems too, like alcoholism (hope not). Two alcohol-related incidents with authorities? Might be signs of a problem deeper than just a guy being dumb on the weekends.

I hope he does have alcoholism. People are always funnier when they're drunk and at least he'd have an excuse to suck.

My theory:
He only did this to get a new mug shot pic......replace the old 'beat-up, pepper-sprayed look', with the new and improved 'doofy, happy drunk, "why u stop me occifer" look'...HA!
