the guy is as serious as a heart attack when he steps on the golf course. strictly business. he probably heard the comment from padraig, just chose not to respond because anything remotely concerning his golf is not funny to him. that's intensity for you.....with a little bit of jag-off mixed in.

Does anyone really care what Tiger said about hockey? I love hockey and got misty-eyed when the Cup made its way to the ice for the Red Wings last week but seriously who cares what Woods says about hockey.

As far as other guys taking a shot at him on tour. It reminds me of something Greg Norman said to him when he was coming up: "these guys will be jealous of you but you're also fattening their wallets by the money coming into the tour because of you. So who cares what they say?"

Smart Guy, i am neither on welfare, nor do i feel entitled to anything. i believe in hard work and i think people have it in themselves to rise above their circumstances, even if sometimes they may need a little help. I am a registered Republican but i find my own party to be complete fools when they lump anyone who disagrees with them into some phantom insulting category of 'liberals'. you, my friend, should allow people to merely think you are an idiot, rather than opening your mouth and dispelling all doubt.

Canadians are bloody crybabies. So a guy makes a smart **** remark about nobody watching hockey anymore. Have any of you read the 100's of articles regarding the exact same thing, ratings are down, attendance is a problem, some cities cant support their hockey team etc. He said it with a smile on his face, it was just a smart **** comment....we all make them. Now everybody is like "he isnt our national game" blah, blah, blah.
Who gives a crap what he says, if you like hockey, watch it, if you dont, dont watch it. Life is not more complicated than that. People fight to the death to have freedom of speech but when somebody uses in a manner they dont like, they say he shouldnt say things like that.
For the record, i am Canadian and I watch hockey because I like it, not because it is a Canadian thing to watch hockey. You can probably understand why I like hockey so much, my team has won 12 Stanley Cups in my lifetime.
As for the wimpy husband comment VInny. I would think Tiger is probably one of the smarter men on the planet. Not only did he choose a babe for his wife, she is a twin. When the Russians are visiting, he can ask his wife to send over the twin to keep up her wifely duties. Pure genius.
