08:01 AM ET 06.12 | Kansas State junior quarterback Josh Freeman has places to go. The National Football League, though, doesn't top his list of destinations at the moment. December in Kansas City, however, will do. Freeman has other ideas. One of them involves staying at K-State after 2008 and not placing his name in the NFL draft. "I plan on playing here four years, being a four-year starter, winning a Big 12 championship, doing all that stuff," Freeman said.

Buddy better stop forgetting his power towel on game day and showing up to offseason conditioning overweight if he wants to go pro.

What's a power towel

This guy has Toronto Argonauts written all over him.

If he is slotted to go in the first round or has a chance to be the first QB taken in next year's draft then I just don't see him staying (Big 12 champions or not).

There is no chance he will be the first QB selected.

I thought the same thing about Carson before his senior year at USC. Who saw Ryan Leaf being the number two guy going in the 98 draft before the season started. Never say never. There is a slight chance. Very improbable but still possible.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt, but he will have to have a seriously ridiculous year to move ahead of Chase Daniel or some of the other more notable QB's. Again who knows what will happen this season, thats why I hate specualating on College Football stuff cause 9 times out of 10 I end up eating my words once the season actually is in full swing.

Personally he is not on my list of the best QBs in NCAAF but that is the craziness of the sport that you have players come out of nowhere. Looking back at my two examples obviously one went on to be good and the other to be a huge flop.

Good for him, I like it when kids are devoted to winning and not to money

K-State has a solid coach but winning the Big 12?!! uh.......no

he might as well they arent going to do anything good the rest of his career

Big 12 Co-Offensive Player of the week, 18-24 passing, 3 touchdown passes, two rushing TD's, not a bad start! He looked very impressive. If K-State's offensive line gives him time he is very good!
