Report: Chelsea to hire Scolari
According to multiple reports from England, Portugal national team coach Luiz Felipe Scolari will become Chelsea's new manager on July 1. Scolari replaces interim manager Avram Grant, who was let go after leading Chelsea to the Champions League final and a second-place finish in the English Premier League. Scolari guided his native Brazil to the 2002 World Cup championship before leading Portugal to the final of the 2004 European Championships.

Wasn't Scolari concerned about the nosey English press?
He knew he couldn't turn around the English national team, a club is a completely different story, he's got oodles (yes, I wrote oodles) of talented foreign players to choose from and succeed in Britain.
Me thinks the 'press issue' was a convenient excuse to say no thanks to the FA.
A good manager for Chelsea.

I also find it humourous that it appears in the T&R after it is announced. I like felipao since his days with gremio. I am curious to see how he will adapt to coaching club soccer again.
