Teammate unhappy with Burress
While most players are standing behind their disgruntled teammates, Shaun O'Hara voiced his displeasure with Plaxico Burress. With the wide receiver on the field but wearing a baseball hat instead of a helmet and refusing to participate in minicamp for a second straight day, the center spoke up. When asked if it was difficult to deal with players putting "business matters" ahead of the team, O'Hara responded, "Whether players like it or not, this team is going to move forward. You're either with us or you're against us."

Embarrassing saliva? As opposed to the saliva that doesn't bring shame, disgust, or a dull luster to your clothes?

WHY DID THE CHICKEN CROSS THE ROAD?
BARACK OBAMA The chicken crossed the road because it was time for a CHANGE! The chicken wanted CHANGE!
JOHN McCAIN: My friends, that chicken crossed the road because he recognized the need to engage in cooperation and dialogue with all the chickens on the other side of the road.
HILLARY CLINTON: When I was First Lady, I personally helped that little chicken to cross the road. This experience makes me uniquely qualified to ensure -- right from Day One! -- that every chicken in this country gets the chance it deserves to cross the road. But then, this really isn't about me.......
DR. PHIL: The problem we have here is that this chicken won't realize that he must first deal with the problem on 'THIS' side of the road before it goes after the problem on the 'OTHER SIDE' of the road. What we need to do is help him realize how stupid he's acting by not taking on his 'CURRENT' problems before adding 'NEW' problems.
OPRAH: Well, I understand that the chicken is having problems, which is why he wants to cross this road so bad. So instead of having the chicken learn from his mistakes and take falls, which is a part of life, I'm going to give this chicken a car so that he can just drive across the road and not live his life like the rest of the chickens.
GEORGE W. BUSH: We don't really care why the chicken crossed the road. We just want to know if the chicken is on our side of the road, or not. The chicken is either against us, or for us. There is no middle ground here.
JOHN KERRY: Although I voted to let the chicken cross the road, I am now against it! It was the wrong road to cross, and I was misled about the chicken's intentions. I am not for it now, and will remain against it.
NANCY GRACE: That chicken crossed the road because he's GUILTY! You can see it in his eyes and the way he walks.
PAT BUCHANAN: To steal the job of a decent, hardworking American.
GRANDPA: In my day we didn't ask why the chicken crossed the road. Somebody told us the chicken crossed the road, and that was good enough..
BARBARA WALTERS: Isn't that interesting? In a few moments, we will be listening to the chicken tell, for the first time, the heart warming story of how it experienced a serious case of molting, and went on to accomplish its life long dream of crossing the road.
ARISTOTLE: It is the nature of chickens to cross the road.
JOHN LENNON: Imagine all the chickens in the world crossing roads together, in peace.
BILL GATES: I have just released eChicken2007, which will not only cross roads, but will lay eggs, file your important documents, and balance your check book. Internet Explorer is an integral part of the Chicken. This new platform is much more stable and will never cra...#@&&;,^(C% ......... Reboot.
ALBERT EINSTEIN: Did the chicken really cross the road, or did the road move beneath the chicken?
BILL CLINTON: I did not cross the road with THAT chicken. What is your definition of chicken?
COLONEL SANDERS: Did I miss one?
DICK CHENEY: Where's my gun?

I really like the name Plaxico. I think I'll name my son that. Chances are, he will be the only white kid in America with that name.

i got no problem with teammates speakin up when a player needs to be spoken to but i feel like o'hara should've handled this in house. maybe he did i don't know. but plax is tryin to get a new deal and going about it the wrong way....o'hara is absolutely right in his complaint towards plax but i feel like teammates shouldn't be using the media as an outlet to get through to teammates.
that being said, plax should suck it up and play football or get to steppin. you're great plax and probably worth what you are askin and we want you to be part of this team but you do what you think you gotta and the world champs will do what they gotta. there's a time and place for your 'business matters' and this ain't it.

His current contract is definitely undervalued, and he also knowingly signed an undervalued contract at the time because few teams wanted to take a chance on a player with a bad off-the-field history. Not crime related but locker room cancer related.
Has he outperformed his contract? Yes. But is he also showing the bad that comes with the good by going about this the wrong way? Certainly.
I guess with the money available with Strahan gone they could throw some his way, but the team needs to remind him that they took a chance on him when others wouldn't, and that he did sign the long-term deal.

The bright sode is that Smith, Sinorice Moss and Mario Manningham should get a lot of reps with the first team. Same for Boss. at the TE position. Not a bad depth chart for any team.
Burress and his agent seem to forget that he signed with the Giants because they were the only team that made an offer to him after he burned his bridges in Pittsburg. No one else would go near him. I can see upgrading his contract to a point, but if that is not good enough, then he can sit because he is under contract for three years. The Giants are built around their defensive line and a solid running game. They have some exciting young receivers, especially in Smith. He may realize at some point that as good as he is, they can play with out him..

Sinorice Moss LOL!!!!
The only problem with not having him is he is their big receiver, and the closest replacement they have for that is DJ Hall, a UDFA.

BigBlueLube .. I understand that. But that is only if you try to make them fit what you were doing. I would think you would change what you were doing to fit the players you have. Going small and fast is not a bad thing. The Smurfs in D.C. did jsut fine, So did the receivers Marino was throwing to in Miami...
Burress was great last year, but it was not long ago he gave up on passes and played half speed..We shall see..Toomer is healthier now than he was at any time last year, he is the most underrated WR in the NFL in my opinion..

Really makes you wonder how the Patriots keep this type of stuff stifiled. The Giants had a coaching streak of 3 great game plans and some serious breaks and a couple of incredible plays. And now all this drama that just leads to another winning season that falls short of the playoffs and calls for Coughlin's head on a platter.
Belichek may be a cheater, but somehow he and Pioli evade all this "I had one great series of play and now I want mine" Super Bowl after Super Bowl.

Wasnt that the guy who caught the game winning pass in the Super Bowl.
Also, didnt he play hurt all year and put up Pro-Bowl type numbers? I think the Giants should pony up like they did for Tuck and Co.
