Thrashers to interview ex-Bruin

Don Waddell's search for a coach for the Thrashers has headed in a new direction: Mike Sullivan. The Thrashers general manager has asked for and received permission to speak with Sullivan, the St. Petersburg Times reported Friday on its Web site. Sullivan, 40, coached the Boston Bruins in 2003-04 and 2004-05. His teams went 70-56-15-23, and his first one won the Northeast Division.

Hmmm. The "Trash-ers" are having a hard time finding a guy to coach tha sad squad? Might it have anything to do with their brilliant GM?

Our old coach got fired because of one Andrew Raycrap. Andrew Raysieve should be demoted to the WHL to "refine" his "skills". He should never return to the NHL.

Mike Sullivan is a good Head Coach who was a victm of bad players and bad fornt office...

Go Mike...the Bruins have not yet proved that they deserve a coach of your caliber...

Thrashers would do good to get Sullivan, his down fall was O'Connel one of the worstt GM's in hockey history....... and not a very nice man to boot. Great comment BobBoston, but i don't think Mr.Jacobs pays attention to anything....

Sullivan was extremely under rated in Boston. I'm glad we have Julien now, but when they let him go and picked up crappy Dave Lewis, it was a bad move. I know, new Gm wants his guys, but Sully got his team to play every night with heart.

BGM is right, he got screwed in the playoffs, Raycroft was miserable, never saw anyone give up more rebounds in my life, and Dumbo Joe couldn't, hasn't, and will not score when it counts, shoot the puck in general, or play physical.

and i love seeing the tired jacobs crap.. It shows one's total lack of hockey knowledge and exactly how much of a band wagon fan you are.. I'm sure you had you Celtics Montross jersey on right? Can you tell me anyone that was on the 92 Red Sox, how bout the 89 Pats?

The B's are at the cap, have about 10 -15 top prospects, only just a few you saw last year, they did not have the best player on the team and missed many others for lenghty periods of time.

I hate Jacobs too, I know he porked the fans out of some possible Cups in the late 80's- early 90's. Times are different. Granted, they could have spent the money in better places, aka Muzz, Schafer, Fernandez, but not spending isn't the problem. So if your going to complain and whine about the Bruins, at the minimum, could your rants show to the readers that you've at least paid attention to hockey since the Great One was on the Blues. Tool.
