Another incident for Randolph?

Zach Randolph has been clubbing again in our fair city, and darned if another melee didn't occur. The following night, Zach was out enjoying himself at Ohm nightclub when, at 1:30 a.m., police responded to a 911 call about a disturbance. "We were told Zach showed up with an entourage and got into a disagreement with a known gang member and drug dealer," Mike Reese, central precinct commander for the Portland Police Bureau, tells the Portland Tribune's Nick Budnick. When police arrived, the scene at Ohm "looked like an old western barroom brawl, with chairs and tables being thrown around ... the bar was trashed," Reese says. No one at the scene was willing to lodge a formal complaint, so police did not write a report or pursue the case.

Randolph should be forced to spend his free time on the basketball court. We all know he has no fight in him there.

June 14, 2008  09:54 AM ET

was he out clubbing with Isiah?

June 14, 2008  10:33 AM ET

Damn, didn't realize most of these nba players be thugging...i mean fighting drug dealers with the risk of being shot or shanked...randolph has heart. too bad it doesn't show on the basketball court.

They'll find out that Tinsley was there and was the ring leader.

June 14, 2008  11:14 AM ET

Well I guess it's time for my entourage to speak to Zach's entourage !!!

June 14, 2008  11:50 AM ET

Damn, can't they find a more current picture of him wearing a Knicks uniform instead?

Indeed, I heard that a few Pacers players were there as well.

Put up a picture of Zach in his NY uni, he's their problem.

Clubbing? Melees? A jedi craves not these things. Recklessness I sense in him.

June 14, 2008  05:46 PM ET

I see the marshmallow/michelin man is up to his old tricks.

"A disagreement with a known gang member and drug dealer" ?!!
Was Randolph trying to buy some drugs, and they ended up disagreeing on the price? Maybe the drug dealer knew Randolph was an NBA player and tried to charge him a high price.

Lets see...clubbing in NY or clubbing in Portland? Thats a toss up isn't it?

I guess he's not up to snuff in NYC!

Wow, this is actually really funny to me now, whereas 2 years ago it was really depressing.

well lets be honest. nba stars are people. how many of us go out to clubs? this is the first time we've heard of randolph in a long time. many people see nba stars at clubs and go wild trying to take advantage of them; talk trash to them about their game or team basically disrespecting them and problems occur. on the serious side, he's no idiot like jamal tinsley...4 or 5 times in one year. I wouldn't push any rumors about him and the drug dealer disagreeing because of the price of his drugs until more basis for such a rumor. otherrwise the guy hasn't been in trouble recently, may have never touched drugs, and will be questioned as using them. what if he saw the drug dealer and he told him not to sell drugs in the club anymore? one thing an NBA player should learn to do is go to rich people clubs so they will have less problems of people going after them.

Heater,

Randolph never really got in trouble in Portland either, but he has such a knack for being at the wrong place at the wrong time so often. Hmmm.
