Arsene Wenger is thought to be considering a renewed bid for Real Madrid midfielder Daniel Parejo, despite the player insisting that he is prepared to stay and fight for his place at the Bernabeu.

Because Calderon and Mijatovic are idiots at managing a club, they will probably let Wenger have him; Madrid produces a lot of solid players but the management has no confidence in them; I hope Schuster changes that

He would love to fall to play next to Cesc!!!! Who wouldn't? Arsene targets the "under the radar" players and I could not be happier!!! Just look at Eduardo and Sagna from last year!!!

Does T&R even know there's a Euro Cup under way? Just wondering!

Arsene Wenger still has the best scouting eye in the business. It is hard to argue that. We will see how this goes.

Why don't they develop some players?

It's about time they do, and actually give them some chances

I agree jeevs look at De La Red he had an excellent season on loan and could help force out the likes of Diara, Marid havent produced a solid player to put in there first team since Iker.

As inept as Calder??n and Mijatovic can be - in order to develop talent, that talent has to play, in games, at least semi-regularly. Getting first-team playing time for Real Madrid is very hard. Soldado, for example, is a darned good striker but as we have all seen - he got no time so he's out. I don't like it very much that Real doesn't have a more pro-canterano culture either but they seem to be learning how to reincorporate ex-canteranos back into the fold.

If Parejo can get first-team exposure at Arsenal, under a very reputable coach like Wenger, and Parejo might not fit in with Madrid's immediate plans, let the kid go and earn his living. Otherwise, sign him up and give him a chance.

i could see Parejo being a good fit with Cesc
