Livingston returns to court

After nearly a year and a half of rehabilitation, Clippers point guard Shaun Livingston has been medically cleared for basketball-related activities. Livingston, 22, has played two games of one-on-one this past week and his seriously injured left knee has improved to the point where is now dunking. The odds of him being cleared to play in the Las Vegas summer league, however, remain small. Livingston will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1 if the Clippers do not offer him a salary starting at $5.8 million. The team is still waiting to see how he progresses before making the decision, but will probably attempt to resign him at a lesser price.

I hope Livingston is ok but he looks like a guy thats going to be injury prone.

June 16, 2008  08:38 AM ET

I have watched him since middle school... he will come back.

Heat fan- stop spamming already......

As for livingston-
you'd better sign for the MOST total money you can NOW-
because you (unfortunately) will never be a player in this league with all of your serious injuries & since you were never a player before you got hurt- only a 'potential' guy

eh

June 16, 2008  01:11 PM ET

what about a healthy linvingston in d'antoni's system...he'll live up to that potenital

PG's are getting smaller these days with the likes of CP3 and D Rose. The last PG that was even good at 6'9" or 6'10" was Magic Johnson and he's a once in a generation type player. Either way, Livingston has to bolt the Clips in order for a chance to succeed.

He deserves to have a chance to make a contribution after all his bad luck

June 16, 2008  05:51 PM ET

He'll be back on the injured list by start of season. 1000%

June 16, 2008  09:17 PM ET

i wish him the best.

sorry to agree with poster that says he will never achieve stardom, but its true. look at preinjury McDyess and now role player McDyess (though he 's an awesome role player to have on your team, but he would be even better if he was the star he used to be).

Lmao. Heat Fan wants Maimi to sign every single Free Agent/possible trade: Arenas, Okafor, Livingston, etc... Please remind this joker that only 12 players can dress per game.
