Notre Dame nose tackle returns

Notre Dame may not have an athletic director, but it has a nose tackle. The school announced that Pat Kuntz, who was not enrolled for the spring semester due to what was termed "personal reasons," was scheduled to start summer classes Tuesday and will be enrolled for the beginning of the fall semester. The e-mail announcement from a team spokesman did not elaborate. Since Kuntz was a regular sideline observer during spring practices, this hardly comes as a revelation. But it does come as a relief: The Irish defensive line would have been reed-thin and unproven without him, though its viability remains a to-be-determined situation regardless.

Too bad he cant play Oline.

Kuntz is a defensive end now that Ian Williams played so well at the end of the year. if ND didn't have Kuntz, the team's run defense would be 20 spots lower than it will be with him in the lineup.

i think in a couple years ND will have a lot of talent, if Weis cant deliver, the alumni will have to eat his contract and look for someone who can coach.

More fat jokes about Weis. How original. I guess its all those Super Bowl benefits he attended for being a freaking winner. Its sad these people attack someone they have never met in their life. Very Shallow.
