Rutgers landed its 11th football recruit of the Class of 2009 when Brunnell (Ct.) High School wide receiver Mark Harrison committed to the Scarlet Knights Tuesday. The freakishly-athletic Harrison is 6-foot-4, 220-pounds and has 4.38 second speed in the 40-yard dash. The Scarlet Knights offered Wednesday and he committed the next day, choosing RU over Florida, Iowa and Syracuse.

Freakishly athletic, but not:

June 18, 2008  07:30 AM ET

Now all they need is a good QB to throw him the ball.

Schiano is a pied piper of high school talent...

/\ haha too true

June 18, 2008  11:07 AM ET

They do have a good QB to throw him the ball. Tom Savage, #45 on Rivals Top 100, will be in the same class as freakishly athletic Mr. Harrison. It keeps getting better!!!!

Choosing any school over saracuse is a no brainer.
Guess he would rather have that New York humidity over that Florida humidity, wow I am sweating just thinking about those two places.

Try Houston it's like 100% here...brutttaalll

June 18, 2008  12:18 PM ET

I hate humidity. but freakish athletic WRs in Piscataway are very nice.

June 18, 2008  12:28 PM ET

Savage is going to the Elite 11 QB camp so its safe to say he is one of the better QB's in the 09 class

Yes state, you are an idiot. Just because you guys are from jersey doesn't mean you have to defend it like a younger sister. Jersey women are for taking to the bowling alley.
