As expected, Minnesota athletics director Joel Maturi has been contacted by the search firm seeking an AD at Notre Dame. Maturi, 63, who has two years remaining on his Minnesota contract and is a Notre Dame graduate, responded by saying he was flattered and honored but extremely happy at Minnesota and fully intends to end his career with the Gophers.
