Nuggets center Marcus Camby, a possible moving piece during offseason roster shuffling, reiterated his desire to remain with Denver: "I want to be here, but I also want to be where I'm wanted." Asked if he currently felt wanted, Camby said, "I don't know, I don't know. Every other day there are (trade) rumors and stuff like that. I'm just trying to enjoy the offseason. That's all I can really do at this point."

Trade him. If Nuggets are insisting on keeping George Karl, then they need a center that fits into his system. Camby can't guard straight up, is more of a help defender. Camby is liability on offense. Trade him for traditional big man and a shooter or draft pick and shooter.

Some perimeter defense wouldn't hurt either.

"Trade him for traditional big man and a shooter "

lol.....
Camby has NO TRADE VALUE
he's 'older' and is not an offensive player.
you think you are going to get a BETTER big AND a shooter ?

Keep him and use him as a nice defensive piece

We see how well his defense helped them this year (read sarcasm). Camby does more harm than good under George Karl. Perimeter defenders with jump shots like Artest and Raja Bell would help this team more.

Dont trade him, he's the only D in Denver

June 20, 2008  11:22 AM ET

This guy could help a lot of teams. Just think if he landed somewhere like Chicago or Miami.

June 20, 2008  11:55 AM ET

Camby is the closest thing Denver has to a defender, which makes him expendable since they don't play defense.

June 20, 2008  02:35 PM ET

You guys are wrong about Camby. Camby stuffs his stats. Often trying to do to much leaving the lane open trying to help too much. Simple ball movement shreds Denver's defense. Yes it's a team effort to be that bad on defense but Camby's inflated stats makes people who don't watch the team believe he is a better defensive player then he really is. He can not guard anybody straight up.

lol ya get camby he hits all the big three's for the nuggets!

this is 1 story nobody cares about!

June 20, 2008  04:22 PM ET

Come to L.A. You can train with one of the best centers of all time Kareem and play a center tandem of Camby and Bynum.

I like that idea. Camby in purple and gold coming off the bench.!!

moving Camby isn's a wise decision he;s the only "D" they got on the team maybe getting another big guy a True C to help him out would be better for the team
