Falcons receiver turning heads
Fred Gibson, the one-time promising collegiate star turned NFL footnote, has morphed from a Falcons roster hopeful to a player "very much in the mix." The speedy 6-foot-4 wide receiver has created a buzz during the Falcons' offseason drills by making plays -- albeit in non-contact drills -- at a position that needs playmakers. The recent injury to veteran Brian Finneran opened up opportunity for Gibson and the others.

Same story every year it seems. Wasn't roddy white turning heads last season and Dez white before that. Once they get into a REAL nfl game those skills dont translate from non-contact drills.
