Pujols moves up recovery
Initially projected to miss a minimum three weeks with a Grade I-II left calf strain, first baseman Albert Pujols is now expected to rejoin the team in Detroit and might be activated from the disabled list when first eligible Thursday. Tony La Russa spoke with Pujols on Friday and was encouraged by the player?s improvement from an injury once believed capable of sidelining Pujols through the All-Star break.

No one here knows if he is clean or not. Including that pimp of a manager.

Plain and simple the best player on the team and one of the best in the game. He can't be replaced and I will be glad the sooner he is back on the field, assuming of course that he is completely healthy.

Also all of you who try to imply that he used steroids or other performance enhancers are completely wrong. Don't you think he would hit more than 50 homeruns if he were using? He has yet to hit that number.
The diminished size of his arms is more due to the injury that he sufferred to one of his arms. It actually requires surgery but he refuses to undergo the knife until it is necessary.

he reminds me of I rod, and nomar, etc. got smaller, I see that too. Eating less? I rod was said to thin out to be quicker behind the plate. The other day i noticed giambi, still a big Fecter, man anyone still using now is not very smart. I'm not saying any of these guys, including Mr. Pujols, was on the juice. just another observation made like the rest of you guys.
