Reds pitcher headed to Yankees?

The calls started just after Chien-Ming Wang was hurt last week in Houston - Bronson Arroyo's friends jamming his cell phone, wondering if he's going to be the Yankees' midseason rotation fix. "Trade rumors," Arroyo said Sunday. "I know this is probably my best year in my whole career to be traded - we're not playing our best ball and my salary (nearly) triples next year. Me and (fellow starter Aaron) Harang, both. "If we're not winning, it all depends on the owner of the club. How long do you want to ride something and see if you're going to win or do you pull out the big-dollar guys and do something?"

The Yankees will talke this boy in the next few weeks. I am on the inside.

He'd look great in pinstripes. An overpaid pitcher with a 5.55 ERA. Perfect!

meh.

is it time for the AAAA mid season call ups to the 4 MLB teams already?

His biggest weakness is his noodle arm cant hold onto the ball when covering first. one little slap and he drops the ball like a one fingered bowler.

Wow. From the braid-boy look years ago in a Boston uniform, to the slap incident with A-Rod, I am certain the Yankees fans that I know personally at least, would not welcome this transaction.

This is a public message for Pimp and Becca: Lester did not win this weekend.

Now, that's all well and good, but he needs to be .500 plus at least one since 6/11/08 by season's end for you to avoid the perils of the soccer threads.
