Rangers may have to wait on Jagr
If, as he said Saturday, Glen Sather hopes to meet face to face this week with Jaromir Jagr, the Rangers GM had best hop a flight across the pond. "I'm in England," No. 68 told The Post yesterday. "I'm going to be here about 10 more days, maybe a little bit less. "There's nothing new about my situation. That's OK. I understand that Glen and my agent had other issues to take care of before and at the draft. "I was at our practice rink last week. I missed Glennie by a couple of hours, or we would have talked then. I'm sure we'll be talking sometime soon. I don't think there's a rush. Nothing has changed."

The common denominator? They're all old stars, fading fast, trying to hold on to what used to be. They have to create some drama and suspense to stay in the limelight!

Hockey in England...How do they pronouce it?
There is a whole lot of material there for some funny stuff to parody about. Sorry Spiny...I have English heritage...and Hockey on the Island kind of cracks me up a bit when I think about it too much.

Spiny .... I catch it when I can, but you would not believe how difficult it is to see any hockey TV coverage over here, it's virtually non-existent. NASN is my hockey lifeline! and provides me with Hockey Night in Canada every weekend and a few other games throughout the week as well.
BTW Spiny, did you get Fanmail from me last week?

I'm Scottish, and I think we have 3 BAD teams over there. All the Scots that can play came to Canada ages ago. There's actually a web site for it. I often thought about going ever there to play, but I may be a bit too olde now...although maybe not.
