Doubts are surfacing about Raiders receiver Javon Walker's story that he was kidnapped from his Las Vegas hotel room before being beaten, robbed and left in a street off the strip. According to the the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Las Vegas Metro police have surveillance video of Walker getting into a car on his own power the morning before he was found. Las Vegas TV station KVBC-TV published a statement last week from the MGM-Mirage, owner of the Bellagio Hotel, saying: "The facts that have been reported regarding the incident involving Javon Walker are incorrect. I am unable to provide further detail out of respect for the Metro investigation which is currently underway." Walker told a gossip website last Tuesday that he was abducted from his room at the Bellagio. "I was just back at my room, and at about 5:30 in the morning, I got a knock at the door," Walker told TheDirty.com. "I opened it, and three guys with guns were there. They cracked me in the head a few times, knocking me unconscious. "They then robbed me of everything I had; my watch, money, everything. Somehow they got me to a car and dropped me off in the street. That's what happened."

Javon Walker is an idiot(if he is lying). Does he know how many cameras are in the average hotel in Las Vegas? Just come clean now before it's too late

HAHA, what an idiot, if he is making this up. He already should be ashamed for being found knocked out, now there are kidnappers and everything. You better clear this up quick!

That sounds like a story I would tell my woman after being gone for a couple of days on a binge. Then I would brag to my friends on how I pulled the wool over her eyes and got away with it.But no way in heII would I tell TheDirty.com.

" Thats my story, and I am sticking to it."....J. Walker

If he told that story to the police, he may have more trouble heading his way. Regardless of what happened to him, I am having trouble feeling an adequate amount of sympathy.

Welcome to the Raiders.

You'll fit right in.

June 24, 2008  08:33 AM ET

Yea, 3 guys that had knocked you out cold, and stole all of your stuff decided to slip out of the hotel as inconspicuously possible by carrying a Javon Walker through the lobby. Just so they could dump you in an alley down the street.

June 24, 2008  08:38 AM ET

Don't they have those little eye viewers in those hotels? I've been to Vegas, and it seems that there's at least one in every door installed. You'd think that a football player, or anyone with a substantial amount of money on his person, would have enough common sense to look through the little hole and see who was knocking. Oh ya, but then how would he explain the **** beating he got? Your right Jevon, stick with your story. It makes so little sense that people are bound to believe you. And don't worry about the video tape they have on you. Video footage only holds so much relativity. ****!

Someone lied about an embarrassing incident - how unusual!!

June 24, 2008  09:27 AM ET

Walker could well be lying, and either way, he almost certainly got what he deserved.

1st Kidnapper: "OK, guys what do we do now? We have robbed him, and knocked him unconscious. Any suggestions?"

2nd Kidnapper: "Call me crazy, but let's pick up this star NFL player and carry him outside. You know, thru the lobby and stuff, Where people could see us."

3rd kidnapper: "Good Idea brotha."

Javon, you clown.
