Villanova signs center recruit
Villanova announced that 6-foot-11 forward/center Maurice Sutton signed a national letter of intent, making him the only incoming scholarship freshman on the Wildcats' 2008-09 roster. Sutton averaged 18 points, 12 rebounds and nine blocked shots for Largo High School (Md.).

Considering nova did not graduate a single player, a small recruiting class is not the worst thing in the world. Coach Wright focused the majority of his attention on Evans, so just one recruit is good, especially since he's a center.

If you had any idea abourt Nova you would see that over the past three years they have filled all of their scholarships - When Grant transfered that open up a scholarship for this year -no other money was available.

Nova only has 1 scholarship open this year, which is now filled- lets look at the recruiting Wright has done over the last 4-5 years - Once Grant transfered this scholarship opened - the other scholarship was picked up by the Duke transfer.
