One man was arrested and a second was sought Tuesday in a robbery and beating that left Raiders receiver Javon Walker unconscious on a side street after a long night of partying at Las Vegas nightclubs. Police said Arfat Fadel, of Las Vegas, was accused of multiple felonies, including kidnapping, robbery, battery and conspiracy in a June 16 robbery. Lt. Clinton Nichols said Walker lost about $3,000 in cash and $100,000 worth of jewelry in the robbery. The loot has not been re- covered, Nichols said.

was he looking to help finance the talaban? still curious how he carried a knocked out NFL reciever through the lobby unnoticed. if he did that he'll be recruited to smuggle some drugs across the border. this guy is good.

Awww, he looks so sad in that picture. They should let him go

June 25, 2008  07:47 AM ET

meh i wanted the guy that knocked him out to be 98 lbs or a college coed..

June 25, 2008  07:47 AM ET

I still have doubts about this. The police said he got in the car under his own free will. Theres more to the story I'm sure..

It's time for members of the Black Hole to get their gear on, head to Vegas, and help with "interrogations" in this investigation.

So, they caught the space aliens?

June 25, 2008  08:36 AM ET

What is with these guys wearing more valuable jewelry than women on the red carpet at the Oscars? I could hit the Mega Millions jackpot tomorrow and jewelry for myself wouldn't even make the list of Top 50 things I would buy. I'm not saying this justifies being robbed or beaten up. I just don't get the fascination with this tacky "bling".

June 25, 2008  08:41 AM ET

they shuda give him a medal not arrested him.

June 25, 2008  08:48 AM ET

Let me get this straight: 2 years ago after spraying champagne on people in a bar Walkers team mate Darient Williams is shot and killed(in Walkers arms if memory serves)and Walker repeated this act?(while wearing $100k worth of tacky "bling")
No wonder he can't read a playbook!Amazing he even finds the front door to make it to work..........

Vikingfan, it's called lack of priorities. On the positive side he might have some gold left over after his career to pay all the child support.

So, to answer the question of a few days ago if Walker was going to be a leader on the Raiders...I think the answer is probably not...
It just is not right that an NFL player gets street beat by a guy named Arfat, there has to be at least a clubhouse fine for that..

Was Fadel a guest of the US government? If he wasn't, he will be now.

June 25, 2008  10:29 AM ET

Is Arfat the transvestite who beat the hell out of Walker?

The beating he is gonna get in the clubhouse will be ten times worse than what this Hamas wannabe did to him.
