Preds investor in deep debt

The Nashville Predators' second-largest investor, William J. "Boots" Del Biaggio III, owes nearly $35 million more than he has, and he lists his $23.5 million stake in the team as his most valuable asset, according to court documents filed this week. Del Biaggio owns approximately 27 percent of Nashville's NHL franchise. He filed bankruptcy earlier this month and is facing a federal probe and a series of lawsuits claiming he defrauded creditors. Some of the loans were related to his buying a stake in the Predators last December.

This poor team seems to be snakebit right now. Maybe if they got rid of the Tim McGraw "I like it, I love it, etc., etc. etc." nonsense every time they scored a goal the hockey gods might like them a little more.

Was it ever a given to work even if the partial owner was loaded. Gottesdeiner here is a possible opportunity, doesnt have the history that Pitt had and isnt as unapproachable as the Islanders. Easier to move.
