Peach County defensive back Reggie Taylor didn't need long to think about committing to Auburn. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound Taylor was offered at Auburn's camp two weeks ago and decided to accept it on Tuesday. Auburn was Taylor's first offer, but he also was generating interest from South Carolina, Ole Miss, Ball State, and Middle Tennessee State.

is he a qb or db? in any event, a 5-10 qb shouldn't make news. that's a scout team recruit. it must be a db.

At that height I would think he's playing DB at the next level. Even with the spread offense, 5-10, 175 is tiny for a QB.

Auburn is building a pretty good class though.

Oh come on, that kid will never see action under center unless it's for the scout team.

I know the guys short but isn't Todd Reesing like 5'10" also. And he had a breakout year last year, including a BCS bowl win. But Reesing does play in the Big 12 not known for defense, not the SEC.

Auburn recruits guys with character, and they win too. They do not want guys that they will eventually have to kick off the team, i.e. Ryan Perilloux and any of the 10 Alabama players arrested in the last year.
