NHL suspends Ducks owner
On the day that Ducks owner Henry Samueli was suspended indefinitely by the NHL for his role in an alleged stock option scheme, the team's chief executive, Michael Schulman, sought to reassure its fans that the franchise has not been thrown into disarray. Schulman said that Samueli and his wife, Susan, remain the owners and that it will be business as usual for the most part within the team's Honda Center offices in light of his boss being banished from anything connected with the Ducks. The NHL suspended Samueli after his guilty plea in federal court to one felony count of making a false statement to the Securities and Exchange Commission during its investigation into his company, Broadcom Corp., and its alleged practice of backdating stock options to reward its high-ranking executives.

Being here in Orange county & reading the news on this and hearing all the stories, it is just a very odd event. On the side of the guy who this all started with, is saying Samueli had nothing to do with it, and than Samueli is stating he should be punished for signing the docs, this is just strange!
