Why Kitna carries OSU golf bag

Attention, Michigan Wolverines. Jon Kitna needs the help of your football team on Nov. 22. That's when Michigan visits Ohio State. If the Wolverines lose their fifth straight to the Buckeyes, the Lions quarterback faces another year of scarlet-and-gray misery because his best friend will force him to use an OSU bag, as he did during his pro-am round. "We have a standing bet every year on the Michigan-Ohio State game," Kitna said. "The loser has to carry the opposite bag for a whole year. So that bag's been with me for two years now. "I keep having to answer the same question over and over. But at some point, when Michigan wins, he's going to have to carry that maize-and-blue bag, and it's going to be awesome."

Kitna is a cool dude. I hate to tell you that you will have to carry that bag for at least one more season. OSU will beat Michigan pretty easy this year.
Michigan is that rebuilding phase. This is OSU's last chance to win the National title in the next 3-4 years. They should win it this year, I just don't think that Matt Sanchez of USC can be that guy that wins every game if he needed too.

Report Offensive CommentRegardless of whether OSU wins, or Michigan, both will end up with a better record than the Lions. Kitna should be made to sport a Lions golf bag if he fails to produce his standard 10-11 wins he always predicts. Good luck Buckeye Boy!

Report Offensive CommentI know there will be a ton of haters, but I love Kitna. He is a stand up guy who likes to have fun. Is he a number one QB? Probably not, but he is a number one role model, something I think we can't have enough of anymore in pro sports.

It's a great bet. You lose and you get humiliated for a year. And how do you know they don't watch the game together. It a bet made in fun and to remind you all year long that your team lst.
