Devils may chase Darcy Tucker

There may be a second topic in the wings when Devils GM Lou Lamoriello talks contract with Bryce Salvador and his agent today. "Maybe Lou will ask about Darcy Tucker," said Carlos Sosa, agent for both Salvador and Tucker. Sosa, Salvador and Lamoriello are expected to try today to hammer out a multiyear deal, with Salvador probably asking some $3 million per season with a limited-movement clause. Salvador, a defenseman acquired from the Blues at the trade deadline for Cam Janssen, can become unrestricted Tuesday after making $1.5 million last season.

I think there will be a few teams chasing Darcy Tucker. He ain't done yet! Just needs a change of address!

Nah.... he's done.

Nice :)

DO IT!!!!!11

As long as he is not in a blue and white jersey next season...I don't care where he plays.

Bite your tongue! I've spent the last seven years loving to hate this guy. I know he was drafted by the Habs, but they don't need Sideshow Bob.

So overrated is he. Toronto's constant attempts to elevate average players to star status by overpaying them are embarassing.

You can have him. He reminds me of what they said about Wendel Clark when he retired--a 35 year old man with a 70 year old's body. He will spend most of the year injured. Mark my words.

Nah.... he's done.

Tucker reminds me of a much rougher, tougher version of Mike Peca. The intensity and competitiveness of this guy is unbelievable. He wears his heart in his sleeve and doesn't back down from anybody. It's just that it's hard to keep it up playing for a losing team with lousy management that's not getting any better year in and year out.

He ain't done! He's only 33. He'll be back! Only needs a change of address.

Hey Bostongm. If you love Tucker so much why not throw in Avery as well. I'm sure they would enjoy each other's company....daily picnics and long walks on the beach...what a pair!.....and if Avery get's out of line Chara can always sit on the munchkin. Besides, Avery is not just a self proclaimed pretty face he is also a very deep thinker. How many guys can compare a playoff series win to a pair of woman's shoes??? Impressive, that guy is deep!
