Manny apologizes for shoving secretary

Manny Ramirez shoved Red Sox traveling secretary Jack McCormick to the ground in an argument over Ramirez' ticket allotment. Several onlookers moved quickly to separate the two. Ramirez had asked McCormick for 16 tickets for Saturday night's Red Sox-Astros game, an unusually high number for day-of-game.

Huh. So you can beat up traveling secretaries and not be kicked off the team, but not the general manager? So, Chacon should have kicked some of the little people around and the Astros wouldn't have waived him--isn't that the message this sends? Or is it that if you are a superstar, you can pretty much murder low wage employees on the team and maybe eat them and nobody cares?
