Patriots defensive back Willie Andrews has been arrested for a second time this offseason, this time on a charge of brandishing a gun at his girlfriend during an argument at his Mansfield apartment. Andrews - who was arrested in Lowell in February, two days after the Patriots' 17-14 loss to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII, and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute - was arrested yesterday by Mansfield police.

Another dumb jock who needs to run the streets and then justify carrying a gun to defend himself. Let me guess what he looks like...? I do not even have to guess. I know and it is not because of some sort of "they are outs to get me" idea. It is just stupidity. Plain and simple. You do not even need to be out partying. Grow up and get some sort of life that is interesting and then just stop chasing some sort of dumb blondes or nappy-headed men. Pleazze.

So why then the picture of the coach? Why not show a pic of the player they're talking about????

As far as the actual story, just 'nother dumb player. They NEVER get it, do they??

Its going to be a lovely day for Patsy haters........ahhh
Ban him from the NFL or send him to Dallas to be rehabbed.

Will we ever see a time when a day goes by in the NFL without one of these **** getting into trouble with the law? This is getting to be ridiculous!

It seems like the NFL has become a magnet for these dimwitted hoodlums. I guess if they weren't any good at beating the hell out of people, they'd be unemployed and on their way to jail.

Oh, wait! They're on their way to jail anyway!

Why would i defend this slimeball ? Im betting the Pats cut him and very very soon. Wouldnt surprise me if they didnt release him today. the Kraft family does NOT condone any sort of violence against women. This turn should have been released after his trafficking arrest.

HumptyRavensfan | 07/01/08,

are you implying Im a "c-r-a-c-k-e-r" ??

I think the NFL needs to explain the latest Supreme Court ruling regarding hand guns to the players. Perhaps each of the Justices could go around the league and meet with each team when camp opens.
