Former Davidson player Matt McKillop will join his father's coaching staff at the school, the Observer has learned. McKillop, 25, spent last season as an assistant coach at Emory College in Georgia. He played at Davidson from 2003-06, and helped the Wildcats win the Southern Conference tournament championship in 2006. "I'm thrilled to have someone who knows our system and wears Davidson on his heart on our staff," said Bob McKillop. "We have a true family environment here and obviously this is a special thing for me. But we are all excited to have Matt with us." The Wildcats still have one assistant coaching position available, and are expected to fill that position by the end of the week.

The job interview;

Tell me about yourself
"I'm your son you moron"
Any experience in basketball?
"I used to kick your butt in the backyard"
Why should I give you this job?
"Mom said it would be in your best interest"
When can you start?
"I like to sleep in, so let's say noon-ish"
