I agree Modanos wife really shouldnt be talkin like that, not smart... She needs to keep her mouth shut when it comes to **** like this... whalen2, you know nothing. When did Tootoo sucker someone who wasn't looking? watch the footage, dink. Modano being stripped of the captaincy is a slap in the face of a guy who has spent his entire career with one team, and there is nothing wrong with believing it was classless (though I have to say it was likely the right move, he really hasn't been much of a leader). Still, you trade awaay a captain, you never strip him...look at Sundin in toronto. Willa Ford shouldn't say things like she said, but does anyone really believe that she has any idea what she is talking about anyway?

Stripping a captain shouldnt be done like that...unless, as Mr. Canada mentioned...he gets traded. It is, in fact, a slap in the face. Especially to a player of Modano's stature.

Or Modano could step up and play hard every shift. That's why he's not captain, and that's why this team is one and done in the playoffs every year.
