The Josh Smith tour of Philadelphia ended yesterday, with the power forward of the Atlanta Hawks being impressed by the presentation of the 76ers and reactions of the people of the city toward him. But did the restricted free agent leave with an offer sheet from the Sixers? "Um, not yet," Smith said in an interview with Comcast SportsNet. "We've got to wait and see what goes on with the revenue and stuff."

Dude; are you drunk already? Why in the hell would the Heat trade Marion for Smith? and after being offered $90 million by the Warriors, they haven't got a snowballs chance in hell of signing Brand. The only place you would see something like you're suggesting, is in your fantasy league.

Smith will make alot of money- there is no reason for him to jump at any offers......

July 4, 2008  10:54 AM ET

also philly is likely going to make Brnd an offer first

July 4, 2008  11:48 AM ET

I for one am hoping that he will stay with the Hawks.

July 4, 2008  11:51 AM ET

he wil stays as a hawks... they will match any offer... plus the 76ers they need to sign AI (not the answer)....

July 4, 2008  12:40 PM ET

He's on crack if he stay in ATL there not goin anywhere it was a fluke they made the playoffs just like it was a fluke that they went 7 games. U think Bibby has enough in his tank come on Childress is achild still who else do they have Lue??? HAHAHA Go to Philly help the new AI.

July 4, 2008  02:08 PM ET

I hope he stays with the Hawks so I can start placing my bet on the over/under on how long it will take before he goes 'Latrell' on coach Woodson. I currenty have it holding steady at two months but all that could change if the team starts to go south earlier than that which wouldn't at all surprise me with fully grown Minimee running the show.

July 4, 2008  02:25 PM ET

DJHeat, your an idiot. the Hawks season was not a fluke if anything it was underperforming. once josh smith realizes he cant shoot threes this team will become so much better. they will bring all their talent back and next year will have the cap space to sign a point guard or post scorer vaulting them up in the eastern conference

July 4, 2008  03:06 PM ET

If the hawks match any offer Smith gets they'll be over the cap and penalized. How will they be able to sign anyone next year? They'd be sinking the ship to hold on to smith, wouldn't they?

** I Think *** Bibby's contract comes off the books next year, so they may have flexibility from next year. Or they should just trade his expiring contract now, and get a serveceable PG. Bibby looked lost in the playoffs with the team. ofCourse its the coach's ineptness to accomodate newer players into the system more than Mike's skills. He's a decent player

July 4, 2008  04:39 PM ET

The Hawks gotta keep Josh Smith. He's going to eventually be an allstar. He's like a bigger more explosive Sean Marion. I don't watch the Hawk play unless it's against the Bulls and Smith always seems to stand out the most on that team.

July 4, 2008  05:00 PM ET

If the Hawks really wanna trade Bibby for a less expensive, serviceable PG, we got plenty here in Memphis they can have. And we would love to have a veteran like Bibby, and we have the cap room to pay him. Bibby for Lowry and Crittendon?

July 4, 2008  07:33 PM ET

"...what goes on with the revenue and stuff"

As master financial wizard, is he?

July 4, 2008  11:17 PM ET

the hawks r gonna keep him hopefully and heat fan...shut up!

heat fan is Ha ha they took rose by the way

July 5, 2008  01:21 AM ET

the memphis fan's deal is definitely something I'd look into if I were the Hawks, either lowry or crittenon + an expiring contract(to make the money work) for bibby.

Why would the Grizz want Bibby? They suck and they know it, they would keep those young Guards rather than Bibby. I mean, if Bibby's contract is expiring, who would they return? Kwame is off the books, does anyone there have a large contract to match Bibby? I dont know, i just dont see it happening...

July 5, 2008  04:15 AM ET

he would look good in a Spurs uni.

July 5, 2008  09:05 AM ET

Bibby for Lowry and Crittendon?
jptipton | 07/04/08, 05:00 PM

I would do that in a heartbeat (plus whatever needs to get done for salaries to match). Grizzs can have Bibby (which drafted him to begin with), ATL can get a young PG and enuf room to keep both Josh's.

July 5, 2008  08:10 PM ET

Here's to hoping the Wizards throw him an offer.
