Things finally did come to a Boyle-ing point, PK!

I don't get it though! Here are the Bolts signing every player (good or bad) they can get their hands on to ridiculous contracts, yet there's Boyle sitting under their very noses and they choose to get into a mud slinging with him! They basically run him out of town! And, it's not like Tampa has a stellar defense to begin with to consider him expendable. Dumb! I just don't get it!

No matter. Boyle will do well in San Jose!

Not long ago, it looked like these cats, Koules and Barrie, were going change this hockey team for the better. And at the time it looked like we were going the right way. But after so many trades and excessive contract negotiations we fall into the same loop that killed us before. Yes, we just got some great stars in stamkos, malone, and prospal now that he;s back in the mix, but good god, how are we going to contend as a one deminsional offensive unit. If Danny were to read this, he needs to know that he was the best, most revered leader on our team. He was a goal scorer and the best experienced defensemen we had. I think the owners have way overstepped their bounds, and don't expect to see the crowds they wanted now that this team is totally FUBAR

I'm nto sure Carle for Boyle is a good move, maybe Feaster is making money available for a decent goalie soon... Remember the Bullin wall is getting near to the door in Chicago with Huet in now. Being back to Tampa might bring his game back....

GMs should stop dishing out no trade clauses if they are going to treat their players like this when they decide they don't want them any more. If a quarter of what Boyle says is true he's been treated very shabbily and this management team should be ashamed. Business is business, I guess, but there is such a thing as honour still, isn't there?

Prospal is 33 and was AWOL against the Pens in the playoffs and Roberts will be great in the playoffs, if they make them. I wish Malone well, but it will be interesting who's line they put him on. Remember, he played with Crosby and Malkin in Pittsburgh and is only 2 seasons removed from a 16 goal campaign

Agree with you the council does. The waiver-wire threat is justified when players with huge contracts underperform.

A ticked of Danny Boyle in SJ with something to prove. Sharks got a good deal. They've got Nabby in net and Blake and now Lukowich to stop them and Boyle to move it out of the zone and up the ice. I think he'll be a better fit than Campbell. Does anyone smell Barry M in the middle of this move ? He wants to bring some young guys in and say...give me a couple of years and I'll build you a team...Danny we welcome you to SJ
