France confident about lawsuit

NASCAR has nearly completed its investigation of the allegations made by former Nationwide Series inspector Mauricia Grant in a $225 million discrimination lawsuit, CEO Brian France said in his annual midseason question-and-answer session Friday. Grant, who is black, is alleging racial and sexual discrimination, sexual harassment and wrongful termination in a lawsuit filed last month. She discussed her accusations in detail on ESPN this week. France reiterated that NASCAR will vigorously defend itself in court, but he didn't discuss any specifics of the case. "My own experience with lawsuits over many years is, by the time the facts ultimately catch up to the actual lawsuit, they're usually a whole lot different than the claims that are made on the front end when you're after a lot of money," France said.

So whats this lawsuit REALLY worth to NASCAR? Theres an excellent probablity that she'll make some money based on the suspension of the two clowns who were showing off their pride (and joke to others). The whole thing is BS, but I believe she'll make a few mil on the "Sexual Harrassment" portion. So France will show everybody just how bright he is and NASCAR will pay $50 mil to lawyers just to have to pay out 2 mil to the plaintiff? Guess its part of the new math AGAIN.

I still thing if she has any documentation of these incidents NASCAR has a very real chance of losing this case. Juries have a habit of not liking big companies that try to hide things like this. NASCAR'S best bet is to settle this out of court and take some limps rather than have this go to a jury.

I watched the interview on ESPN and this chick is lying through her teeth to get paid. Every question she was asked she looked to her left and if you know anything about human nature, looking to the left is searching for an answer rather than having it at hand. Put her on a lie detector or some Sodium Penathol to get the real story.
