Liverpool forward to Portsmouth

The Telegraph reports that Liverpool forward Peter Crouch is close to moving to Portsmouth. Pompey manager Harry Redknapp had an initial bid rejected by Liverpool and Rafa Benitez, who has put a rather exorbitant valuation on Crouchie.

If he was faster he'd be so deadly. But he's a good scorer and just needs time on the field. I'm glad he's going to get a chance elsewhere.

Crouch deserves this move, finally we will get to see the stork run around and get some PT. this is also a good move for the english national team, since crouch can only get better from this

I would have started over Kuyt but he gets so many calls that don't go his way. If he is touching another player in any way when he heads the ball it's called a foul. Unless somebody gets the ref's to back of he's a liability to the Red's and to England.

At my house, the kids refer to him as the "Giraffe." I think he also had his teeth straightened. Nice guy, is Peter Crouch.

I really do not like Peter Crouch. It's personal. He fouled **** on his header that he scored against Trinidad and Tobago in the 2006 World Cup and the damn ref allowed it to stand.
