Miami hasn't pursued Miramar's Eugene Smith, South Florida's best Class of 2009 quarterback, mostly because it has four young quarterbacks. But the Canes already are showing a strong interest in Miami Central junior-to-be quarterback Jeffrey Godfrey, his father said. Although A.J. Highsmith, Alonzo's son, said he will enter UM next year as a quarterback, he eventually could play defensive back.

Man, you cane fans are rabid. This is just a seeming non-story b/c all kinds of teams recruit QB's all the time, so the title is dumb. Take a look at other truth and rumor threads, and you'll see other people make jokes about how dumb of a story it is. Recruiting in the summer is all we got though.
