Having Holliday sure wouldnt hurt the Angels

I wonder how many of the top teams in the AL/NL will continue to make their move through the deadline on the 31st. Through the dog days of summer, this is about the only interesting thing in baseball. At least until late August. I'm not a huge MLB fan, but I'm trying this year. After blasting golf for so long as being boring, baseball at least has a little more action.

Lifetime he bats .075 lower away from Coors with slugging .200 lower. This year it's only .050 and .150 lower away form Coors; but, do you really want to risk trading top players on the Coors effect?

Adam Dunn is a perfect DH and can be had cheaper. BA is low; however, OBP is high. The guy scares the bejesus out of opposing pitchers the way he mashes balls into the next county.

When is the next Angels home game?
I'm flying my 2 sons in this weekend for a couple of weeks and want to go to a game.

Angels already have 5 OFers. Where's the room? Unless they trade 1 or 2...

Holliday is a great bat, but don't the Angels already have a crowded OF as it is??

Agreed that Adam Dunn would make a very good DH and will likely cost less.

Thanks Coletrain, I live in Texas, but I'm here in Los Angeles building a store, I think my 2 sons will enjoy watching a team other then the Rangers.

I think Dunn would be a smarter add for the Angels

Rockies would be stupid to trade away this guy. Not happening.

If they don't have pitching to deal, Dan O'dowd better not send anyone there, definitely not Holliday. If we can't get starting pitching for him, don't deal him.
