Pistons have interest in Delfino

With an eye toward bolstering the team's depth along the perimeter, the Pistons have been in contact with several free-agent swingmen around the league -- including a former player, Carlos Delfino. The NBA's free-agency signing period begins today, but the Pistons will not be in the market for big names, such as power forward Elton Brand. Instead, the team is looking for depth behind small forward Tayshaun Prince or shooting guard Rip Hamilton.

los spurs should get delfino. they would have the market cornered on spanish speakers. think of the endless marketing deals in that city. taco cabana, taco bell, .. it would be huge.

Report Offensive CommentI agree with jgb, I would think Joe D would have more pressing concerns right now.

Report Offensive CommentWhy would Delfino want to go back to the Pistons and ride the bench again? He would be a good player off the bench for some time. Definitely not a starter in the NBA.

Report Offensive CommentI have to feel that this is not what Dumars has in mind. Something big is coming, unless no one else has as high an opinion of the Pistons front line players as Dumars does.
