Favre an option for Ravens?
The Ravens have been mentioned by some national publications and Web sites as a potential alternative if the Packers tell Brett Favre to stay retired. They lost Steve McNair to retirement and are faced with some difficult choices as they prepare to open training camp. Favre, theoretically, would give them an elite short-term quarterback and serve as a perfect mentor for QB-in-waiting Joe Flacco. The Ravens have legitimate concerns about the viability of Kyle Boller and Troy Smith, but they have installed a new coach and a new offensive coordinator and appear to be in the midst of a dynamic transition that could be sidetracked if the team gave into the temptation to go for a quick fix behind center.

I really don't think it would be the Ravens.
If I were Brett, I would go to Chicago or the Vikings. I know he doesn't play well in Domes but the Vikings could go to the SB if he could figure out his demons.
I honestly feel that Ted Thompson isn't going to let Brett back. I think he will get released and I feel that with a healthy Bear Defense with S Mike Brown, CB Nathan Vasher, MLB Brian Urlacher, and DT Tommie Harris coming back, I think it would work well. The Bears would definitely be in the Running for the playoffs. I like LT Chris Williams and OT John Tait moving to the RT position. I think that Matt Forte can do it. I liked him at Tulane, even though he didn't face GREAT defenses every week, he dominated and played well against LSU and good teams. I love to watch Brett......

Favre is like a yo-yo. He is selfish and cannot let go of his only thing that matters to him. Not a good head on his shoulders. Throwing the ball downfield without looking. Throwing those costly interceptions. It as Reggie White who got the team it's title. A few other players also on the team and Favre did contribute, but he got all / most of the glory. He is really another Clemens but without the disgrace.

Yesterday Murphy and de facto president of operations Harlan stated they believe Favre will "honor" his retirement from Green bay, and have nothing to state further. If Favre ends up pulling the plug on his lawn tractor and weed eater, then so be it, but he could mentor more than just the Ravens QB position. There has even been talk of his return to GB, but not a the quarterback. Try QB asst. coach for starters.

Bond 007, nice attempt at trolling. But when trolling your statements have to at least make some sense instead of sounding like a total bitter (& jealous) ****.
I think the Ravens would be a good fit, and I can guarantee you that Ray Lewis would be lobbying for it hard as the window is closing on him to win another SB. I also think KC would be a good fit with Larry Johnson and Gonzales.

Favre is a guy who needs to shut his face and enjoy his redneck retirement plan. Maybe a visit from Jesse Jackson Sr. would shut his yap?
