The Erie County Sheriff's office has issued a felonious assault warrant for former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Odell Thurman in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 27 at Kalahari Waterpark Resort, according to the Sandusky Register. The newspaper said Thurman was indicted by an Erie County Grand Jury, and authorities are looking for him.

A second round pic in 2005. Suspended in 2006, 2007 and 2008. That has got to be some kind of record. It just has to..

Local news here in Cincy is that he punched a dude in the face and broke his jaw over an arguement about his place in line for a waterslide... no, seriously, that's actually what happened.

Unless you havent heard also Chris Henry has filed for bankruptcy...

I'm glad we have gotten rid of these fools

July 12, 2008  10:16 AM ET

July 12, 2008  11:07 AM ET

I hope he gets tasered, then gang raped in prison.

July 12, 2008  11:40 AM ET

at least he is getting ready to wear those orange jumpsuits in jail. things keep getting worse for Cincy's rep of having bad players and explayers.

July 12, 2008  02:06 PM ET

I dont understand how this is bad for Cincy's rep??? Clearly we did the RIGHT thing by releasing him. That should be viewed as a good thing for our rep...

Another bonehead bites the dust...hey, at this rate the price of tickets will go down because fans will simply need to go to the local penitentary to watch their favorite player. Heck, throw in baseball, track, basketball and we can make it an olympic sporting event...The gold medal for criminal activity in sports catagory.

July 12, 2008  02:17 PM ET

A bengal in trouble, go figure huh? Although, things can get rough at the waterpark, i'll bet he tears *ss through a white sale at WalMart!

July 12, 2008  06:27 PM ET

I wonder why the same vile comments aren't said about Matt "snort snort" Jones.....

The Bengals taking over where the Dallas Convicts left off........

It makes you wonder if the NFL would ever consider issuing compensatory picks for teams with multiple players whom have derailed careers thanks to crime. I know many showed these tendancies while in college, but not all of them. I am no Bengals' fan but it is good that they are seriously screening these guys for character because not only do they cause problems but when they start hanging out together like Odell and Chris Henry then they always end up in the slam

July 12, 2008  08:45 PM ET

Change the damn name of the team to the Cincy Cellmates or the Cincinnati Convicts or......

July 12, 2008  09:22 PM ET

SteelersinMD's cats are fat...Compesatory pics will never happen. But look at the bright side, the team gets out from under some big contracts that they can use to get proven guys in FA. I bet there a lot of teams that would love to lose some of the contracts they have with their top pics..

You hope he gets gang raped?? "Tell it like it is" has some issues. Go talk to someone man, you're safe now, he can't hurt you any more. As for the Bungles, they need to completely start over, beginning with the coach, and get control of this team. Better to lose for a while and get your team back than talk about being on the verge of winning something only to have it sabotaged by knuckleheads each year. Don't taze me bro!!

sad part is, guy is one of the more talented LBs to play in past decade. had a real shot at the HoF if he could have played a 10-15 year career. but all the talent in the world can't make up for a head full of bad wiring.

(and devo, keep dreaming. packers aren't exactly a bunch of saints.)
