I don't think his sexual persuasion is important here!

July 12, 2008  03:26 PM ET

As Ohio State didn't even offer, this is irrelevant

July 12, 2008  03:29 PM ET

he obviously didnt want to win a natl title.

He's a 250 pounds linemen running a 5.0 in a 40, he's not exactly a physical freak.

NONSTORY...

The T&R college section shall soon be renamed the 'Joe Paterno Memorial'.

Today is Joe's 945th appearance.

That's also how many times he had to pee today!

July 12, 2008  07:43 PM ET

Hey 'Royal loyal Buckeye', How many national championships has Ohio State 'won' since 1968? yep, exactly...Obviuosly OSU doesn't either...

July 12, 2008  07:46 PM ET

Not in the Ohio top 20 propects, but he was on OSU's radar. Nice pickup for the Lions. I'd rather see him go to PSU then to WVa.

July 12, 2008  08:43 PM ET

HEY PSU1 ... I THINK OSU HAVE A WAY BETTER CHANCE OF WINNING THE NATL TITLE THAN YOUR SORRY NITT LOINS..... BUD

July 12, 2008  08:49 PM ET

I'm telling you, the coach needs to be tested for HGH and EPO.....no way this guy lives through the season unless he stays "fixed."

Classy, very classy comment, CLOWN!

Uhh, PSU1: OSU won the Nnal Championship in 02, then lost twice the last two years when they had very good teams but "backed" into the title game. Last year, BuckFans thought, "rebuilding"...somehow we ended up in the Big Game. THIS year--we are LOADED. Please wait to mock the Buckeyes in a year when its NOT national news when PSU "gets" a lineman OSU DIDN'T WANT. OK. Maybe you should wait until a year when the Nittany Lambs are challenging for a LEAGUE title, at least...

July 13, 2008  04:49 AM ET

Mr Bundy: The Bucks didn't "back in" to the title game in '07, we were #1 from pole to pole and undefeated going in. Though PSU1 is all wet in his comments, I have a little sympathy for PS fans. How bad is it when the highlight of their life is when they grab a lower tier Ohio kid. We've been killing them in W. Pa, so they get 5 under-the-radar kids in Maryland and a Portsmouth kid and all the sudden they are NC bound! Pretty pathetic, don't ya think?

July 13, 2008  08:09 AM ET

Yes, correct on all counts....The problem for PSU fans is, they've been so mediocre for so long, Joe Pa is now their biggest financial booster. Heck of a way for the guy to keep his job, but at least they'll name a few more streets after him....the key for PSU is to make sure they stay on Joe Pa's good side so they'll retain their slot in his will.

July 13, 2008  11:08 AM ET

Darn! I guess this is JoPa's payback for Ohio State taking Terrell Pryor and Dorian Bell, the top recruits out of Pennsylvania for '09 and '10.

Oh well, I think OSU get the better end of the deal.
