The Dolphins -- among several teams that have inquired about unsigned former All-Pro guard LeCharles Bentley -- also were among three teams that attended a workout Thursday at Rutgers for offensive tackle/guard Pedro Sosa, whom draftnik Russ Lande projected as a second- or third-rounder in April if he hadn't sustained a knee injury.

Miami needs alot of help so this is not too far of a reach. when you go 1-15 you can take chances can it get much worse?

July 13, 2008  11:00 AM ET

How bad is this guy hurt? The Browns cut him.

July 13, 2008  11:36 AM ET

Injured goods.....not good. Agreed, Miami is in reboot mode for years to come I would think.

July 13, 2008  12:26 PM ET

Can't hurt

July 13, 2008  12:29 PM ET

July 13, 2008  01:55 PM ET

July 13, 2008  02:22 PM ET

Where is this article on the Miami Herald site?? All I see is an article on stupid Brett Favre.

July 13, 2008  02:57 PM ET

Bentley would be smart to head to the Vikings if he gets a chance. There was talk about him going there earlier if they couldn't resign Matt Birk.

July 13, 2008  03:19 PM ET

The Dolphins are interested in a Bentley.

July 13, 2008  03:21 PM ET

The Bentley brand is to luxury cars what Everest is to mountains. Those with wallets deep enough to meet the six-figure price tags of the company's vehicles are treated to towering levels of refinement and prestige.

July 13, 2008  04:05 PM ET

The Dolphins are not yet worthy of a Bentley..... dare say I, a lowly Viking fan.....

July 13, 2008  06:00 PM ET

The Browns didn's cut Bentley - they released him at his request, because he wants to start and they can't guarantee that. Their O-line was pretty good last year, and they don't want to risk screwing up the chemistry they had - especially when he may not be 100% again.. If the Vikes or the Fins can put Bentley on their first team, more power to them. But if he can't find a team that will start him, don't be surprised if the Browns re-sign him. I suspect that's what they were hoping for by giving him his release instead of trying to trade him.

When will the actual HEAD COACH give his opinion on anything ???

July 13, 2008  07:31 PM ET

The Bears need too get this guy and try him at LG,if he is healthy he will be a great p/u and when Kreutz hangs them up he can step in at center, and if he is not healthy well he shoulds be cheap at this point.

LeCharles?

Okay. Call me LeYoda.

July 14, 2008  11:25 AM ET

Enjoy your shiny new primadona if your team signs him. He wanted out of Cleveland because he wasn't going to get a gauranteed starting position, even though he was paid the first 2 years of his deal and never played a snap.
