Although I don't agree with the previous LSU fans comment I can say that at least that dedicated Tiger fan isn't showing the social ignorance the dedicated fan of the U seems to display. I would be willing to put the LSU athletes ofthe past 20 years up against those of the U in an academic challenge anyday!

lets jus all be chill about this..dont start arguin about dumb stuff..lsu is a great program with a great coach and the same goes for miami(and this is comin froma buckeye fan)..but i think um is doin a good job of jus keepin the 2 backs that already pledged b/c they already have jones and james comin back....i didnt know the fans in the south argue they way they do up north..see we aint son different after all.

Where are the rest of the rabid U fans? LSU fans vs Miami's is a fight I wanna see.

Lets look at the record of OJ. When he had a great O line in front he had great numbers, when he move to LA and the O line was not a good as Buffalo, his numbers went way down. Sooo good back or not what realy is important is a good to excellent O Line.

the guy has a 2.5 GPA, he isn't that bad, and also the shoulder injury was a temporary injury that he has already recovered from.

And what's up with all the idoit "Thug U" fans making fun of LSU athletics, last I checked, we only have one bad seed. While with miami the name tells it all.

I'd be willing to bet if Periloux went to miami, he'd still be on the team.

And I think I finally figured out why Miami fans call Miami the U, it's because they don't know how to spell Miami.

He isn't going to miami because he will commit to WVU. You heard it first, by the way we would love to play Miami but for some reason they won't.

I may know the reason, it's humilating when your out recruited by WVU on your own turf.

It is much more difficult to get into the U than LSU as a student or as a player, and Shannon is nowt putting up with anything off the beaten path by the players if they want to remain a player. Get with it LSUrocks!

clemsontiger 1....not sure if you are aware of it or not, but miami is ranked much higher in national academic rankings. clemson is in the upper 70's where as miami is 50 I beileve...nice try though.

anyone who calls miami thug u anymore is stupid. we havent have any altercation since the FIU incident. Randy is cleaning up the program. Also, anyone who thinks the U doesnt care about academics is ignorant. Our school president is a former member of clintons presidential cabient, Donna Shalala. Our school is soaring up the rankings and this year has cracked the top 50 schools in the United States. LSU cant say that. Clemson cant say that. Ohio St. cant say that. We are a great academic institution. LSU is for a bunch of inbred rednecks down in the bayou, hell you boys arent even top 100 academically.

You want ot bet on that? I'm currently a sophmore in high school, and have a 3.1 GPA and am struggling to make close to the requirments for an LSU education.

I just can't understand why so many people make a big deal about how Miami is handling their recruiting process. Some comments I understand but some are so ridiculous they don't deserve a response. Miami has 5 championships and had a great recruiting class and more will follow. For all those critics out there you just need to ask why some athletes from your states come to play at the "U". What draws all these players to the "U"? The main point of this whole matter is that there are a lot of haters and they know that Miami is coming back strong. Enjoy the games you win but the championship will have to come through Florida soon. Let???s Go CANES
