As it typically does, the recruiting scene continues to percolate in the summertime, this time with touted offensive line prospect Chris Watt of Glenbard West reportedly pledging allegiance to Notre Dame. Both Irish Eyes and Irish Illustrated report that the 6-foot-3, 280-pounder made the call on Sunday. State of Illinois recruiting guru Tim O'Halloran ranks Watt, whose older brother Kevin plays at Northwestern, as the top-rated prospect in Illinois in the class of 2009. Rivals.com's national rankings peg Watt as the No. 46 prospect overall and the No. 2 guard. Watt is the 12th prospect in the Irish's '09 haul.

Notre Shame is lucky that Jim Tressel recommend ND to Watt. Weis should send JT a gift basket as a thank you.

Big pickup for the Irish. Now we need to go out and get Zeke Motta, Pat Muldoon, EJ Banks, Adam LaLota, and Zach Martin. Xavier Nixon and Shaquelle Evans are the best recruits left on the board for us.

Michigan is gonna be so bad this year, Warden, that all you can do is try to bring down ND. Get your shots in now because you know whats coming: a Michigan **** storm on Sept. 13.

How many people do you think it takes to bathe big Charlie?

Do you think that they have a team of people? Are the paid, or all volunteers?

Those are the ND questions that I want answered.

"How many people do you think it takes to bathe big Charlie? "

Don't worry Ryan and don't be afraid. You are at that age where your body is changing and you are having mixed feelings about sex. But, those feelings shouldn't include bathing other men. Talk to your parents about these feelings, they can help.

Charlie: "You know, I had a couple of brats the other day. And it made me bilious. But I still like 'em. I'm like that."

I think this was stated a few days ago, right? Just lose the weight man, and let the POPE do his thing.

It is amazing that NDs recruiting has remained so strong in spite of what happened last season. Not many blue chippers want to be on a "sinking ship." There must be something still drawing them to South Bend ...(anyone have a comment that does not include any reference to Charlie's girth?).

Why does Notre Dame get so much attention? The only legend from there is Joe Montana and a movie about a kid's dream to play one down for them... The team is never any good and its football tradition seems to be tainted with losing... One offensive lineman is not going to turn this program around.. No one cares about Notre Dame they stink
