Pacers offered Tinsley for Haslem

Larry Bird said he hopes to trade for or sign a power forward and is confident he can trade point guard Jamaal Tinsley. The Pacers tried to solve both issues in one deal by offering Tinsley to Miami for power forward Udonis Haslem, but the Heat are reluctant to give up Haslem. Pacers officials said they expect to be able to trade Tinsley because 10 or 12 teams need a point guard. How soon that happens might depend on whether the Memphis Grizzlies trade one of their three young point guards -- Mike Conley Jr., Kyle Lowry or Javaris Crittenton.

Tinsley goes to my gym here in Atlanta. He is currently about 40 pounds over his playing weight...He was shooting in the gym the other day and his gut was literally hanging out over his wifebeater. Have fun whoever gets this guy.

This is truly a joke. The best thing for the Heat would be to trade Stephane Lasme, Marcus Banks, Joel Anthony, and a future 1st round pick for Jermareo Davidson and Raymond Felton.

The Heat should make a trade for Tinsley. Haslem is a good player but they do need a point guard and Tinsley would fit in perfect w/Wade and Marion and w/a trailor like Beasley couldn't be a better fit. They could get another player in the process for insurance purposes or 2nd rd draft pick next season. DO THE DEAL!

What a stupid idea. I'm surprised Riley didn't go for it. Haslem would complete the cycle. With the exception of Wade, Riley will have completely decimated a championship team and taken them to the lottery. Which only proves how overrated he was in the first place.
